This manual brake lockout cap is an option for the UFP/Dexter actuators. It allows trailers equipped with drum or disc brakes to be backed up over soft ground or up inclines without fully engaging the brakes. The cap is designed to disengage when the trailer is pulled forward after backing up. Therefore it must manually reset prior to each time the user backs up. It replaces the basic plastic top cap.
Cap has a zinc plating for superior corrosion resistance and is simple to install.
